In April 2000, the team at Royal Lochnagar set about distilling this single malt and filling it into a single refill hogshead, where it stayed for 21 years. In June 2021, the time finally came for the whisky to be bottled up, a task carried out by the experts at Hunter Laing – releasing a total of 330 bottles for its independent Old Malt Cask collection.
