Single Malt
Hunter Laing
Scotland
This is an independently bottled single malt from the Loch Lomond Distillery, released under the Inchmurrin name (one of the many names you'll find Loch Lomond whisky released as, since the distillery produces all sorts of styles). It was distilled in August 1996, and aged in a refill hogshead for 24 years, until May 2021. It was bottled by Hunter Laing for the Old Malt Cask range, with an outturn of 206 bottles.
Liquorice sweeties, tangy red berries, and a smidge of peanut butter.
Raspberry and redcurrant again, now with shortbread and chocolate chip cookie.
A slow build of sweet spices and baked goods on the finish.
