Inchmurrin 11 Year Old 2014 (cask 76/2014) - Cask Masters (Brave New Spirits) 70cl Whisky

Brave New Spirits presents single malt from Loch Lomond, bottled under the Inchmurrin brand. That means the whisky was made with the distillery's distinctive straight-necked pot stills, which makes it more grassy and fruity in character. The edition you see before you here is part of the Golden Proof range within the Cask Masters series, which is full of single cask whiskies bottled around 50% ABV from first-fill casks to ensure maximum flavour. For this Highland single malt Scotch, a first-fill bourbon barrel was chosen to house it until it was cracked open after 11 years of maturation. Just 248 bottles were filled at 48.5% ABV.
