Description
Independent bottler Brave New Spirits released this peated Inchmurrin single malt from Loch Lomond to join its Whiskyheroes series. The whisky spent 10 years maturing in first-fill bourbon barrels, yielding a batch of 425 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate-coated citrus, rich oak, vanilla fudge.
Palate
Layers of runny toffee, cooked apple, strawberry and boiled sweeties, with burnt caramel and roasted nuts beneath.
Finish
Warming notes of allspice join for the finish, with lingering sticky toffee sweetness.
