Description

The team at indie bottler North Star got hold of a cask of Inchfad from Loch Lomond, known for its hugely versatile distilling abilities! This here is a heavily peated expression, distilled in 2007 and matured for 14 years in an Oloroso barrique. A total of 234 bottles were released from the cask in July 2021.

Nose

Mulled fruit juice, festive spice, earthy burnt oak.

Palate

Toasted oak continues with herbal coffee grounds, smoked meats, and bonfire embers.

Finish

Sweet peat, smoky ash, roasted oats, charred lavender.
