Inchfad 14 Year Old 2005 (cask 16785) - The First Edition's (Hunter Laing)

Inchfad may not sound like any distillery you've ever heard of - because it's not! It's the name used for heavily peated single malt produced at the wonderfully adaptable Loch Lomond Distillery. This is an indie bottling of 14 year old Inchfad, distilled in 2005 and aged in a refill hogshead until 2019. 293 bottles were produced for Hunter Laing's First Editions range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Peanut butter on toast, slightly floral barley and cut grass.

Palate

Develops a tropical sweetness on the palate, backed up by layers of smoke.

Finish

Salted butter and crumpets.
