Croftengea 14 Year Old - Periodical (North Star Spirits)
14 year old single malt from the Loch Lomond Distillery, except this one is well-peated, so it's been bottled under the Croftengea name! This expression has been independently bottled by North Star Spirits as part of the Periodical series, and it looks like it's been rescued from the claws of history via a time machine or something of that ilk!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Roasted barley and toasted hazelnuts, with some jammy red fruit notes building in the background.
Palate
Mars Bars and burnt toast, with touches of baked earth bringing a dry spiciness.
Finish
Cinnamon, ginger, and lasting peat smoke.
