A Directors' Cut bottling of Littlemill single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single cask for 25 years. The distillery was closed in the 1990s and unfortunately destroyed in a fire in the 2000s. While the distillery is gone, their whisky remains. This vanilla-rich, sweet expression was distilled in November 1988 and bottled in June 2014, producing 225 bottles.

The cask strength covers some initial smells, but underneath is a very light vanilla. The initial sip is smooth and velvety (even at 112 proof), with no bite, only warm rich vanilla and mild oaken wood. With the continued sipping the cask strength begins to make itself known.
