8 year old single malt from the Linkwood distillery, independently bottled by Signatory for their Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled in May 2008 in a bourbon barrel until August 2016, when it was bottled with an outturn of 277 bottles. This was a special release, presented as part of La Maison du Whisky's 60th Anniversary.
Clove and cardamom, joined by notes of honey'd barley and freshly-made summer fruit tart.
Tropical fruits, white oak, heavy caramel and mint leaf.
More wood spices, with a hint of star anise in there too.
