Douglas Laing
Scotland
Single Malt

A 20 year old single malt from Linkwood, aged in a refill hogshead from June 1997 until August 2017. Following that. Douglas Laing came along and bottled it up for their Old Particular range. Only 326 bottles were produced.
Dried barley brings vanilla and a subtly grassiness to the nose, with hints of chocolate Brazil nut and apricot give it some sugary sweetness.
Fruity esters develop on the palate alongside runny caramel and Alpine herb freshness.
A flash of lemon peel and some soft oak warmth.
