This is an independent bottling of single malt from the Linkwood distillery, aged in a pair of hogshead casks for 19 years. It was distilled in June 1997 and bottled in May 2017 by the chaps from Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection - 389 bottles were produced.
Apple turnover, lemon meringue, toasted white bread and strawberry jam.
Butterscotch, peppery oak leading to walnut and cinnamon.
More toasted bread and fruit preserves.
