    Linkwood 18 Year Old 1998 (casks 11788 & 11789) - Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)

A single malt Scotch whisky from the Linkwood distillery in Speyside, drawn from a pair of bourbon barrels which matured the whisky for 18 years, from November 1998 to May 2017. Following that, the whisky was independently bottled by the indie bottling stalwart, Signatory, as part of their Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Cooked ginger and baking bread give a savoury start, before light hints of caramelised fruit bring sweetness.

    Palate

Earthy vanilla (with a touch of vanilla sponge cake in support), cedar and runny honey.

    Finish

Softly spiced, though biscuit-y sweetness remains.
