Bourbon
An 18 year old Linkwood single malt, drawn from a pair of bourbon barrels which were laid down in November 1998 and bottled in February 2017. After 18 years, this was bottled by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Ginger snaps and cinnamon biscuits, with a hint of cut grass in the background.
Oak-y warmth begins to take control on the palate, with white pepper and warm chocolate brownie notes alongside oily walnut.
Some sharp fruit zestiness appears on the finish.
