17-year-old single malt from Linkwood here, distilled in 2006, the whisky was filled into a single oloroso sherry butt to mature. That cask was opened up by the gang at North Star Spirits, yielding a total outturn of 575 bottles.
Sweet apple pastries and zesty citrus peels, creamy grist, and fruit-packed flapjack.
Boiled sweeties and honeyed malt, buttery oak, and soft, sweet spice.
Malt loaf, baking spice, and sweet old oak.
