Single Malt
Sherried Linkwood single malt, distilled back in December 2006. This one was initially aged in bourbon hogshead, but seven months before it was bottled, it was moved over to a fresh sherry butt. It was bottled in June 2020 by Signatory as part of the wonderful Cask Strength Collection. 702 bottles of this sherried Speysider were produced.
Chocolate biscuits, lemongrass and dried cherry.
Still got plenty of dried fruit to it, now with peanut brittle and treacle in support.
Lingering coffee and walnut cake, plus some malt loaf too.
