Description

Here we have an indie Linkwood single malt, distilled back in March 2008 and allowed to age in a pair of hogshead casks for 12 years. In December 2020, those two casks were cracked open, and the whisky was bottled by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. As you might expect from that name, there was no chill-filtration here.

Nose

Lemon drizzle cake, mixed nuts, pear drops, subtle sawdust spiciness.

Palate

Grassy meadows, buttered bread, vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone.

Finish

Popcorn, nutmeg, vanilla tablet.
