Single malt from Linkwood distillery joins the Cask Strength Collection from Signatory Vintage. Distilled in 2012, this Speyside whisky matured for a decade in a first-fill bourbon barrel before being bottled in 2023, with only 240 bottles released.
Set honey and vanilla fudge, with charred oak, and candied citrus.
Chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon buns, and oaky spice.
Biscuity malt, and some pepper.

Loads of vanilla but a big sandalwood and botanical note in the middle (heather maybe). My only issue is the botanical dominates the finish.
