Distilled at Linkwood distillery in October 1989. This was aged for 22 years in cask 5042 before bottling by Duncan Taylor for their Rare Auld range in January 2012. A cask strength release of 155 bottles.
Nose: Calves leather, perfumed, malt and spices. A little black pepper, some fragrant woods, apple blossom and zest.
Palate: Zesty and floral with notes of orange marmalade and granary toast. Pepper, Earl Grey tea and citrus.
Finish: Vanilla, black pepper and malt.
