Description
Back in 1494, King James IV commissioned Brother John Cor at Lindores Abbey to make aqua vitae with eight bolls of malt. That's history right there – Lindores Abbey is officially recognised site of the first recorded distillation of Scotch whisky. Now, it has all come full circle, as the Lindores Distillery has gone and released its first commercially available whisky! This Lowland single malt was aged in ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and STR ex-Burgundy red wine casks, and it packs an rich though enjoyably light flavour profile. This is the Commemorative First Release edition, which has been labelled to celebrate the launch!
