It's That Boutique-y Whisky Company's very first bottling of Swiss single malt whisky! This was distilled in Switzerland at the Langatun distillery, though the map on the label looks to be tracking something that's gone from America to Spain to Switzerland and finally to England... Perhaps this journey holds some secret about the whisky...?
Batch 1 is a release of 314 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chilli-chocolate, oatcakes, honey roasted peanuts. Hints of spiced fig and sea salt appear after a minute in the glass.
Palate
Sugary cereals (Frosties? Ricicles?), poached pear and chewy toffee. A whisper of peat lingers in the background.
Finish
Fresh peach, vanilla-rich malt and spicy nutmeg.
