This single malt hails from Knockando, and the Speysider was distilled in December 2007. It matured in not one, but two hogsheads for its 12 years of ageing, until Signatory bottled it up for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection in June 2020. You don't see very many indie Knockando bottlings knocking about, do you? Intriguing stuff.
Honey on freshly baked bread, with waxy peels and orange blossom.
Fresh hay, oily walnut and brown sugar, with cinnamon-spiced orchard fruit.
Treacle toffee and caramelised nuts.
