Knockando 12 Year Old 2007 (casks 304094 & 304096) - Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
A Signatory bottling of 12 year old single malt from the Knockando Distillery, matured in a pair of hogsheads from December 2007 to July 2020. Knockando is one of those distilleries that doesn't get seen as a single malt very often, and even indie bottlings of it are fairly scarce, so seeing one is always rather interesting indeed.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh and fruity, with hints of vanilla, clementine and toasted teacakes.
Palate
Nutty malt and baking spices, followed by yellow plum and vanilla tablet.
Finish
Slightly grassy on the finish, sweetened by caramel and liquorice.
