You may have guessed it already from this expression's name, but the Isle of Jura Seven Wood is made with whisky drawn from seven different types of cask. There's American white oak, and six other French oaks, Limousin, Tronçais, Allier, Vosges, Jupilles, and Les Bertranges. Intriguing stuff, this.
Nutmeg, strawberry jam on toast, Brazil nuts.
Lemon peel, sawdust, apricot and cooked peach.
Heavy vanilla. A hint of smoke develops.

Well considering I got it half price at Tesco's in the clearance at £32 I think is excellent
Wonderful light dram with just a hint of smoke
I received a bottle for my birthday, I just love the Jura range, however the Jura Seven Woods is an excellent dram and a really enjoyable malt whisky
Yes, I taste the strawberry on toast
I love smooth whiskies whereas my hubby loves the Leary ones. He bought this as a gift for me and I have to say, I am over the moon with it. It has to be one of the smoothest, most delightful whiskies I’ve ever tasted.
