Douglas Laing's Provenance Coastal Collection continues with a 12 year old single malt distilled by Jura! This whisky was aged in a single refill sherry butt from April 2006 to May 2018, when it was bottled at 48% ABV with an outturn of just 383 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery malt, sultana, pecan and mulled wine.
Palate
Crunchy brown sugar, cassia, a hint of redcurrant, quite oily.
Finish
Plenty of vanilla and chocolate notes last, with a pinch of chicory too.
