Jura 11 Year Old 2011 (cask 20748) - The First Editions (Hunter Laing)

This single malt from Jura spent 11 years maturing between 2011 and 2023. That time was spent resting in a single sherry butt, yielding a total of 161 cask strength bottles when it was cracked open by Hunter Laing for The First Editions collection, without added colour or chill filtration.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Soft stone fruits and tangy berries lead the way, with a touch of herbal honey and soft coastal peat.

    Palate

Sherried fruit and biscuity malt are accompanied by waves of vegetal peat and coastal smoke.

    Finish

Charred herbs and a touch of anise linger with charred oak and woody spice.
