This 10-year-old single malt was part of Jura's core range through the 2000s and 2010s, before it underwent a revamp in 2018. A nice find for a retro collection or a nostalgic tasting.

Origin has a more full bodied flavour than Superstition, but is also a bit rougher. It has strong smoky scents and flavours. Not my favourite, but a nice wee dram to finish the day.
Warm and mellow, very sophisticated. A very nice companion for a warm summer night while stargazing.
Have long loved all the Juras and after giving up for spirits for a year, I purchased a malt much more expensive than this and it was terrible waste of money. So I bought something familiar Jura 10. It's exactly what I want in a single malt whisky. It has a honey/fig sweetness which I love and often do not find in much more expensive whisky. The liquor has a lovely viscosity, a softness on the palate. With a slightly smokey or perhaps wood aroma. Just delicious, and a great value. I'll never understand the unsophisticated insults. Oh, and this is actually "whisky"
Just horrible stuff. I love whiskey and find it easier to name the few I don't like - this and superstition both fall in to that small category. Something stale and diesel like about this whiskey. Bought a bottle of Jura from a Royal Mile Whiskies own bottlings for £75 and it was sublime - why do they make this horrid stuff and why is it stocked everywhere?
Just bought a sample pack with the 10, 16, and superstition. The 10 had a nice thick oily feel and was extremely smooth. It was almost too smooth and I do not recommend adding any water to it, regardless of the 43.5%. Some floral notes, along with sweet vanilla/honey/cereal flavors were very prominent and pleasant. Not very complex but I think it's very good for non whisky drinkers because it's very smooth and has a sweet flavor. I don't know if I would buy a full bottle but it was good scotch especially for 10 years old. I can't wait to try the 16 (which will be happening in a few seconds).
