This 10-year-old single malt was part of Jura's core range through the 2000s and 2010s, before it underwent a revamp in 2018. A nice find for a retro collection or a nostalgic tasting.

Have to say, I read all the negative reviews and went back to try it to be sure that I wasn't kidding myself. This is a superb drop for its price.

Nose and taste is quite strong and intense! But finish is very rough .. too rough for single malt. The finish reminded me cheap drinks from the bottom shelf... For this money I'd prefer JW Black next time...
Straw. malt, fruits and that's it. No long aftertaste and minimal burn to the trouth. 6/10
Poured a gentle amber color The smell was hard to decipher due to the overwhelming pungency of the alcohol, so the flavor was surprising, vibrant and sweet. Taste of crisp apple, maple syrup, and mild honey. Finish is mellow but a little spicy. Apple and pear flavors linger well after the last tasting. Very good Scotch.
