J.G. Thomson Sweet Blended Malt
This expression from the J.G. Thompson range is one of three blended malt Scotch whisky that wear their flavour profile on their sleeve. It's the Sweet expression, which has been created using whiskies matured in new toasted oak casks, heavily toasted casks with a medium char, and even casks with a heavy char plus extra toasting on the cask heads. This has allowed the team to finely tune this whisky to show off its warming sweetness wonderfully.

Nose
Toffee apples, lemon drops, custard cream biscuits, and a touch of cinnamon.
Palate
Brown sugar, maple syrup on pancakes, orchard fruit, and a little hint of roasted almond.
Finish
Coconut ice, marzipan, and malt.
