Single grain Scotch whisky distilled in July 1973 by the Highland-based Invergordon, bottled in 2018 by Hunter Laing for its Sovereign series - a range of single cask single grain whiskies bottled at cask strength and without chill filtration or artificial colouring. 243 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet caramel fudge, with sharper red berries cutting through.
Palate
Smooth and balanced, oak notes with sweet honeycomb and rich, marinated fruit.
Finish
Sweet and oaky, a finish that lingers.
