Invergordon 27 Year Old 1990 (cask 12356) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
27 year old single grain from the ever-dependable Invergordon distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. It was distilled in November 1990 and left to mature in a refill barrel until February 2018, when it was bottled for the Old Particular range. Just 77 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Custard Cream biscuits and milky coffee. A kick of cumin powder.
Palate
Exotic spices from the nose come to the fore, before being tempered by layers of caramel and pineapple.
Finish
Lasting butterscotch warmth.
