Invergordon 18 Year Old 1997 (cask 11197) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
An indie Invergordon single grain, aged for 18 years in a single refill barrel before being selected and bottled for Douglas Laing's Old Particular range. It was distilled in May 1997 and bottled in May 2016 with an outturn of 236 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Raspberries, honey nut cereal and, well, honey'd nuts!
Palate
Brown sugar and a little pinch of nutmeg.
Finish
Developing vanilla, with the raspberry notes making a reprise.
