Inchgower 26 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
This right here is the fourth batch of independently bottled Inchgower single malt Scotch whisky from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. It's got a pair of goat-watchers on the label (they're similar to bird-watchers, except with goats), which might make more sense if you know what Inchgower means in Scottish Gaelic. There's also a little hint to another Boutique-y label on here...
Batch 4 is a release of 137 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
White grape, leather, dusty oak and warm apple turnovers fresh from the oven.
Palate
Honeyed barley, slightly leafy at points, still got that classic Inchgower leather note running through it.
Finish
Cooking spices take control on the finish, with black pepper and clove at the core.
