An indie Inchgower, bottled by Douglas Laing for its Provenance range. This was aged in a refill hogshead for 9 years, from February 2008 to August 2017, then bottled at 46% ABV. A release of 416 bottles.
Barley and lemon, with a hint of coffee bean.
Thick with vanilla and honey, while notes of barley continue on.
White chocolate, cinnamon and pear.

Lovely coffee and fruity flavour with hints of chocolate, truly beautiful and a bargin.
The nose is weak vanilla and very gentle note. Palate: like butter cookies and a bit of chocolate. Finish: a littler bit spicy. Very short finish. This a good whisky for beginners, very unsophisticated.
