Single Malt
An independently bottled single malt Scotch whisky from the Inchgower distillery, aged for 7 years in a Sherry hogshead. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2016 by Langside for the Hepburn's Choice range. 380 bottles were produced.
Cinnamon, floury bread rolls, blackberries and dark chocolate.
Honey, raspberries, strawberry and fresh barley.
Peppery oak, with a sweet hint of sticky Sherry.
This is an outstanding single-malt... a friend brought me back a 100 ml flask when she traveled to Scotland, I took my first sip today while watching a violent thunderstorm roll in from the porch. I can taste the charred oak right off the bat, then as it mellows more flavors take their turns... the whiskey is complex and absolutely fit for sipping, sitting, and contemplating.
