Inchgower 13 Year Old 2008 (cask 19422) - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing)
A treat of a Speysider here, this Inchgower single malt was distilled in 2008, and slumbered in a single bourbon cask for the next 13 years. In April 2022, the folks at Hunter Laing emptied the cask and bottled it for the Old Malt Cask series, in a release of just 78 bottles at 50% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Ripe pear, set honey, apple blossom, and orange sweets.
Palate
Chocolate-coated raisins, melted brown sugar, and more citrusy sweetness.
Finish
Apple pastries, and dried apricot.
