Inchgower 12 Year Old 2008 (casks 801491 & 801492) - Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
Distilled at Inchgower in 2008, this lovely Speysider was bottled up by Signatory for its indie Un-Chillfiltered Collection in 2020. Before bottling the whisky rested in a pair of hogshead casks for 12 years, numbers 801491 and 801492 to be precise – we like to imagine them sitting side by side, keeping each other company for all that time.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Syrupy flapjack, vanilla, and toasted spiced fruit loaf with butter.
Palate
Strawberry shortcake with vanilla cream, light citrus zest, and herbaceous spice.
Finish
Freshly baked sponge cake, poached pears, and white chocolate pistachios.
