An indie Inchgower, bottled by those wonderful North Star Spirits folks. This one began life in 2007, when it was distilled and filled into a refill hosghead, then left alone to sleep. In March 2019, the cask was cracked open and the whisky was bottled at 52.5% ABV with an outturn of 321 bottles.
Honeycomb, dried peels, iced buns and crumpets.
Spicier on the palate than you might expect, with caraway, peppercorn and anise. Still packs plenty of honeyed notes, though.
Liquorice, basil leaf and milk chocolate.

This one is all about sweetness in harmony with nutty, woody character. Sweet a bit smoky malt, spices, finishing with cigar box. Delicious.
