Independently bottled by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection on 3rd April 2018, this 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky was distilled on 30th August 2007 at the Inchgower distillery, after maturation took place in two hogshead casks (801155 and 801160). A whisky of natural colour and, quite appropriately, one untouched by chill-filtration.
Aromas of apricot, honeyed barley and filo pastry emerge among drying cocoa and cinnamon. Cut grass and dried oak fill the backdrop.
Tones of summer blossom lead with juicy pear and apple peel among balanced tannins and a dusting of thyme.
Brown sugar and malty notes linger.
