A heavily peated single malt from the InchDairnie Distillery, this lovely Lowlander was matured in American oak, before a finishing period in a Marsala wine cask. Drawn from a single cask in 2021, a total of 270 bottles were released by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for its Cooper's Choice collection.
Unctuous peat with burnt tar and ash, buttered malt loaf, and dried fruits.
Juicy raisins, dates, and figs balance beneath yet more oily peat and sweet, malty oak.
Pungent peat persists with a sultana sweetness and underlying vegetal spice.
