A rare thirty-year-old Imperial single malt distilled in September 1995 and bottled in October 2025 from a single hogshead. One of only 128 bottles at a natural 53% ABV, it captures the distillery’s lost character with waxy fruit, meadow sweetness and mature oak. Long ageing has added richness without muting the spirit’s charm.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Beeswax, apricot jam, vanilla pods and gentle spice with notes of dried flowers and polished oak.
Palate
Rich stone fruit, honey, malt biscuit and soft citrus carried by mature oak and a waxy texture.
Finish
Long and warming with apricot, honeyed cereal and a faint herbal tone.
