A lovely blended whisky from Japan, created by Ichiro Akuto, the Japanese whisky extraordinaire, and founder of the Chichibu Distillery. This particular gem is made with both malt and grain whisky from Japan as well as (possibly) some whisky from other countries too - the label describes it as "a worldwide blended whisky".
Peach and dried apricot, sweet butterscotch, vanilla cream, citrus zest, synthetic bananas and gooey malt.
Toffee first and foremost, with notes of barley malt, gingerbread, tropical fruits, honeyed pipe tobacco leaves, black pepper, roasted chestnut and freshly cut hay.
Medium length with vanilla and dried tropical fruit.

Picked up a bottle of this in Tokyo and it’s been very rewarding although I think Japanese whiskeys are very similar to the smoothness of some of the Irish whiskeys. Try a Jameson first and compare.
In a word, smooth. This is such a lovely drink.
Incredibly smooth and enjoyable.
comparing to yamazaki, this introduces different (more herbal?) flavor and texture.. very smooth as expected, and just so tasty and easy to enjoy.
Stunning
