The entry level bottling from Scotland's most northerly distillery, Highland Park, aged for 12 years. This is an older design, before the Highland Park range underwent a rebrand in 2017, and another in 2024. A fab find for a retro collection.
These bottles were part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Bought this again recently and it was just as good as I remember sherry peaty coastal perfection incredibly balanced well rounded as they come damn good island whisky . The sugarbear
This is one of the best, most balanced whiskies I've ever had. It opens up very sweet and finishes with beautiful, gentle smoke. On the front I can sometimes (depending on the bottle) detect a strong flavor of buttered bread. Plenty of honey comes before the smoke. The finish, as best I can describe, tastes of twigs. The 15 was even better and more pronounced but sadly has been replaced by a NAS.
My girlfriend bought me a bottle of Highland Park 12 and I must say it is incredible. I tasted the 10 and the 12 one after the other and the difference is huge! Looking forward to tasting the Talisker 10 or the Benriach 12, but so far this is my very favorite.
I picked this up as it was on offer in my local supermarket and i must say its a very enjoyable drink, its very subtle and surprisingly smooth with a nice smoky aftertaste which is not overpowering as you also get a lingering creamy feel which just makes you want another glass! Perfect with ice as when the ice melts its brings out its full flavour
This is a scotch drinkers scotch. The kind of scotch to come home to, enjoy and take the edge off a long day or even longer week! I prefer the 12 to the 18. Less peaty than the 18, smoother with a slightly smokey taste. If you are looking for gift bottle - this is it. Easy to drink but sophisticated.
