This was distilled at the Highland Park distillery on the 16th June 1988. It was aged in hogsheads 741 and 742 for 23 years before bottling by Signatory on the 1st March 2012.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Quite a soft nose, largely on barley. Notes of heather honey, a little caramel, vanilla and blossom.
Palate
Mildly smoky, with notes of damp cardboard, iodine and toffee apple. Freshly ground white pepper and heather roots.
Finish
Good length, becomes bitter with oak and green tea notes.
