The 2022 limited edition release of Hibiki Blossom Harmony from the House of Suntory. This blend combines malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakashu, and Chita distilleries that make up the core Hibiki Harmony blend, with whisky finished in sakura (Japanese cherry blossom) casks incorporated into the Blossom Harmony 2022 expression. A fantastically balanced non-age statement whisky, showcasing the mastery of chief blender Shinji Fukoyo.

Nose
Delicate, honeyed florals counterbalance a richness of cocoa nibs, and fragrant sakura wood, with juicy berries in the background.
Palate
Aromatic plums and tropical fruits, with warm toasted oak, and complex, savoury-sweetness of salt-pickled cherry blossoms.
Finish
Brown sugar, with a freshness of green banana.
