I've never had anything that tasted so young yet so old at the same time. Nose: Big bourbon note, oak, sweet tobacco, dry hay, grassy, cocoa butter, floral, poached pears, apple crumble, perfume, new make/spirity(but not in a bad way), hazel cut cream, natural caramel, wood sap, this is a good 20 min nose. Taste, sweet dry wood, malty syrup, roast cashews, acacia honey, very highland in character with the tobacco and hay. Finish very green, this is where you can taste the youth, dry, freshly mown grass, apple skins. Excellent craft presentation of a very rewarding single malt don't yet the age statement sour you there's clearly much older malt here dancing with the young, you wont be disappointed.
