An interesting release from the Haran whiskey selection produced in Spain – this 12 year old whiskey was treated to a finishing period in cider casks! With apple notes developing alongside waves of vanilla and malt, this ought to make for a wonderful aperitif tipple. Reckon it'll do well in some classic whiskey cocktails, too...
Nose: Cooked apple, fragrant oak, rounded malt sweetness.
Palate: Cinnamon and nutmeg, with heavy vanilla and zesty green apple.
Finish: Caramelised nuts and a touch of dried apricot.
