When we first heard about the initial Haig Club being released with David Beckham we had a discussion at MoM Towers about what the price point would be. When it was eventually announced, however, it was quite a bit higher than the whiskies we'd previously assumed they'd be competing with. That's where Haig Club Clubman comes in, which will be the more "mainstream" variant.
The Clubman, a single grain Scotch whisky distilled at Cameronbridge and matured in ex-bourbon casks, is designed to be enjoyed with cola.
Inoffensive vanilla, nougat and caramel notes. With Beckham behind it, we can see plenty of vodka coke drinkers making the switch to Clubman and not looking back.

Tastes nice with vimto fizzy remix. The mango, raspberry and grapefruit overtones give it a fresh vibrant flavour if you don't want to be stuck with the old fashioned snobbery that goes with so called whisky efficionados.
I tried this years ago and was completely scathing. Now I got it because it was on sale and was pleasantly surprised! I had it both neat and mixed (never in cola, 7up free all the way). There's an element of fruit I like and the nougat/popcorn elements are about as inoffensive as it gets. I didnt like it much with a little water, next step is with ice but I don't imagine that will help much. Its so gentle it may replace my usual recommendation of Tullamore Dew as the first step into the whisky world. If you're wondering whether to get a bottle of Jack Daniels or something else you have seen your mates drink, don't. Get this.
Absolutely tasteless and watery (I'll let you in on a secret. The bottle is blue because the Haig family do not want people to be deterred from purchasing it based on the light colour). It should be called brown vodka.
I enjoyed it !! I’m not a whiskey snob it’s lovely neat or with ginger ale . It is what it is
Been bought a bottle on my retirement, on first tasting, have to say, Not impressed, will perceive though, but my initial thoughts are, have tasted better
