When we first heard about the initial Haig Club being released with David Beckham we had a discussion at MoM Towers about what the price point would be. When it was eventually announced, however, it was quite a bit higher than the whiskies we'd previously assumed they'd be competing with. That's where Haig Club Clubman comes in, which will be the more "mainstream" variant.
The Clubman, a single grain Scotch whisky distilled at Cameronbridge and matured in ex-bourbon casks, is designed to be enjoyed with cola.
Inoffensive vanilla, nougat and caramel notes. With Beckham behind it, we can see plenty of vodka coke drinkers making the switch to Clubman and not looking back.

They almost convinced me it was dreadful before I'd even tried it. It was ok, bit of a cocktail type drink with Coke and Ice. Neat sipping made a pleasant change from Single malt and a little lighter in price too.

I think people miss the point with this. Its 18 pound. You cant expect it to taste like Dalmore. Its more of a young mans whisky. One for partys. I think its quite nice neat. Mild, sweet, drinkable. If you are a Gentleman who enjoys a finer whisky then this isnt for you.
One of the best whiskey, the sweet note in the taste of the heads does not hurt, even after consuming larger amounts, you will not try to buy another one I recommend
Bought a bottle out of curiosity as it was on special. Tastes of, well, feck all really. Honestly, the supermarket own brand bourbons or blended scotch are a better bet. Really.
