Cameronbridge 21 Year Old 1997 (batch 18/108) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & Macphail)
A suitably sherried single grain, distilled at Cameronbridge back in 1997. It then spent over two decades maturing nicely in a refill sherry butt, before it was independently bottled by Gordon & MacPhail on 29 November 2018 at the ripe age of 21 years. Only a limited 581 bottles were released for the Connoisseurs Choice series at cask strength, 59.3% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Chocolate shortbread, lots of sherried fruits, vanilla custard and buttery toffee.
Palate
Creamy lemon curd, orange sweeties and waxy citrus peel, with floral oak and toasted banana bread.
Finish
An array of herbal notes, green oak and floral honey.
