This single cask Glenturret was distilled on the 12th July 1985, matured in hogshead number 136 for 22 years before bottling on Valentine's Day 2008. A release of 305 bottles, bottled by Signatory.
Nose: Sweet, and not unlike poly cement, but definitely in a good, interesting way. Hints of the smell of fibreglass insulation in attics. Freshly baked poppy seed cake and honey.
Palate: Sweet and spicy. A very interesting, digestive biscuit flavour comes through, as does that general attic-iness. A very curious little whisky with quite a bit of golden syrup sweetness.
Finish: White sugar and shortbread.
